1/4 cup pepper jelly hell (or your heat choice)
2 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons warm water
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
4-6 basil leafs, chopped finely
Salad dressing Directions:
Place the pepper jelly in small pan and simmer about minute until slightly thin. Add the vinegar and whisk, and the oil and whisk, and warm water and whisk. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the basil and stir gently. Drizzle over your favorite salad*.
* Salad pictured was made with spinach, diced fresh motz, and toasted almonds. YUM YUM YUM!
You can also thin pepper jelly in the microwave in about 30 seconds!
To make it even simpler put all ingredients in a bullet blender and pulse a few times. It chops the basil and emulsifies in one easy step!
